For your convenience, the Credit Union Service Centers will be available. Voicemail messages may be left anytime at (504) 257-4205 or (504) 257-4206.  E-mail messages may be sent to customerservice@michoudcu.com. All messages will be accessed when the office reopens. Access to automated services, i.e. M.A.R.S., Internet Banking, Bill Pay, etc will remain available 24/7.

If you apply for federal government benefits on or after May 1, 2011, you will be required to either receive the benefit fund by direct deposit or receive a Direct Express Card.

If you are already getting federal benefit payments by check you will have to choose to receive these benefits by either direct deposit or receive a Direct Express Card by March 1, 2013.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Due to circumstances beyond our control, access to the Michoud Credit Union through MAF (Michoud Assembly Facility), Building 101 Lobby is no longer available for off-site members, effective 1-4-2011.  Onsite access remains the same.

We are available to provide ALL services at MCU; however, you must contact us to schedule a visit in the Building 350 Lobby during normal business hours. We realize the closing of this entrance at our current location will be an inconvenience.  We ask for your patience and support as we make every effort to rectify this matter.

  • Michoud Credit Union and its business partners will not solicit private or personal information about Michoud Credit Union members via e-mail or telephone. You should never respond to emails that request you to disclose sensitive information. Never click on a link in an email because the links may redirect you to a fake website. Instead always type the web address into your browser address bar.

    If you receive suspicious e-mails or phone calls from entities claiming to be Michoud Credit Union, please report them immediately to the credit union at 504-257-4205 or at customerservice@michoudcu.com and delete any such e-mails.
 


 

CU Shared Branching

Your credit union has joined together with other credit unions nationwide in a cooperative effort to bring you a new choice in financial convenience. Shared branching provides our members access to their account(s) wherever they work, live or play. Available services include: withdrawals, deposits and loan payments. There are over 2000 CU Service Centers and CU Outlets nationwide. To access your account and obtain services at the CU Service Center or CU Outlet, all you have to do is present your account number, the name of your credit union and a valid photo ID.
